Last year, as a sophomore in college, I experienced repeated bouts of anxiety that led to a few nights in which I could not sleep. I did not know what was causing my anxiety, so I began to write in a stream-of-conscious manner, and this writing evolved into a extended meditation about my past experiences and their impact on my current perspective on life. You can find a sample of this piece below on the left, and then next to it a bit of something I wrote over the summer for a similar purpose, on the topic of love and attraction. 

 

If you have a moment, I encourage you to read parts of these pieces to better understand what I mean when I say I write to obtain clarity about myself and the world around me. I hope that my writing will inspire you to similarly engage with your own thoughts and minds.
